Who We Are

We are community members who want to make a difference. We are volunteers.

Our current executive is Naomi Grant (Chair), Alicia Irwin, and Rachelle Niemela. Our guiding members are Pam Banks, Christine Caveen, Natalie Lachance, Violet Lanthier, Andrea Moreau, and Jennifer Trainor, with additional core members Koop Alkema, Aicha Atlassi, Jane Cox, and Danielle McIntyre.

How We Work

We are a grassroots organization guided by our Mission Statement, our members, our community, and evidence-based research. We strive to undertake our work with integrity and respect. We create positive change by collaborating on advocacy and community projects.

Where We Are

We are located in N’Swakamok/Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, on the territories of the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek and Wahnapitae First Nations (Robinson Huron Treaty 1850).

Additional Info

We will do our best to support you to build community, undertake a community project, take action on an issue you care about, or follow up on a concern. We will do our best to connect you with your neighbours, with others with similar experiences, with organizations with a wealth of local knowledge, with groups that match your interests and needs, and with information.
