VETAC is an Advisory Panel to Council and the committee directing regreening in Greater Sudbury
Its purpose is to:
enhance and sustain a healthy environment for residents of the City of Greater Sudbury through the restoration and protection of our air, land and water. Between 1978 and 2008, 3400 hectares were limed and seeded and 8.9 million trees were planted. VETAC continues this work, as well as enhancing biodiversity, and assisting with regreening of schoolyards.
