She Won’t Come in from the Fields: a 30-minute one-woman show and conversation about regenerative farming and climate solutions written & performed by Dale Colleen Hamilton. Monday, January 20, 6:30pm, at Seasons (815 Lorne).  Reserve your free ticket here.  Co-hosted by Sudbury Shared Harvest, Seasons Pharmacy and Culinaria, Myths and Mirrors, and Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury.

Lantern walk and sky stories, Saturday, January 25, 5:30pm, Doran Planetarium (Fraser Building, Laurentian University). Doors open: 5:30pm. Free snacks. Donations for the Sudbury and Laurentian student food banks accepted. Sky stories at the planetarium: 5:45pm-6:15pm with Hoi Cheu (Doran planetarium director) and William Morin (Anishinaabe Knowledge Carrier). Will and Hoi will each tell a winter story under the planetarium’s starry sky. Lantern walk to the LU beach via the golf course trail: 6:15pm. Star stories at the beach with space scientist Olathe MacIntyre. Return by 7:30pm. Transit is free to this event (take bus #3).  Simply tell the driver you are attending the lantern walk.  Register here

Lantern making.  Leading up to the lantern walk, we are collaborating with Myths and Mirrors for their January Making with Myths.  Come make lanterns Saturday, Jan. 18, 1-3pm at the Makerspace in the main library.
