We are a connector.
As a network, an important part of our work is making connections.
- We connect citizens and community groups to each other. We help connect people to community efforts that match their passions and interests. We look for opportunities for partnerships and collaborations among community groups.
- We connect people to opportunities and resources to make a difference. We let citizens and community groups know when they can have a say on policies and decisions that make a difference on the issues they care about. We point people to resources to help with their efforts. We let people know how they can help make exciting community projects a reality.
- We connect decision makers to good information to help them make good decisions. We research best practices and listen to local citizens, groups and experts to provide solid and timely information to Council and the City. The information we provide is grounded in credible sources, and in a deep understanding of local context and experience.
- We connect the green community. We connect Greater Sudbury's many green groups and other like-minded organizations. We facilitate common positions and submissions, and collaboration on shared objectives.

Every fall and spring, local green groups come together for Green Gatherings, to share what they are doing, and discuss common objectives and issues.
