Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury invites you to Community Voices at la Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario (174 Elgin) April 11-17 and April 24–28, weekdays 11 am – 1 pm & 4 pm - 6 pm, Saturdays 10 am – 4 pm, and Sundays noon – 3 pm.
Come experience the voice of the community as art, and add your voice through interactive community art activities.
All welcome. Family friendly.
- What do you need in your community? Add it to the map.
- Imagine a sustainable, vibrant and equitable community that is a joy to live in. Imagine a low carbon community that is resilient to climate change impacts. What does it look like? Help create a collaborative community vision.
- Imagine you travel 5 years ahead in time and find that Greater Sudbury is just how you wished it to be. Write down the changes you are happiest about and put them on the wishing tree.
- Write a message to your community and put it up on the gallery wall.

Climate Picnic: Sunday April 14, 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Bring a waste-free lunch, discuss climate change and take action.
Meet Rainbow Routes at Bell Park (Elizabeth Street parking lot) at 12:15 to hike to the picnic. -
Readings and Open Mic: Friday, April 26, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
What message do you have for your community? Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury invites you to Community Voices’ final special event this Friday, April 26, 7 – 9 p.m. at la Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario (174 Elgin). Hear readings by Roger Nash, Will Morin, Scott Florence, Darlene Sovran and other local poets and artists. Share your own message to the community in a letter, a song, a poem, as a celebration, a lament, a wish, or a manifesto. Come celebrate the voices of the community and enjoy some refreshments at this free event.
