Bike Sudbury

Bike Sudbury is a volunteer grassroots organization whose main focus is to provide a strong unified voice for cyclists and to facilitate a better urban cycling culture in the City of Greater Sudbury.  Their aim is to make cycling safe, accessible, and fun for cyclists of all ages and ability.

Citizens’ Climate Lobby Canada

Citizens’ Climate Lobby Canada is a volunteer, grassroots group, linked to the International Group Citizens Climate Lobby.  They communicate with politicians and media about the urgency of the climate crisis and lobby all levels of government (especially federal) for carbon fee and dividend.  

We are the national headquarter and have been since 2011.

Friends of the Roxborough Greenbelt

This goal was realized in 2009, when it became a public natural park.  The group now focuses on stewardship and neighbourhood activities.

The Drinking Water Source Protection Program

The Drinking Water Source Protection Program works to prevent the contamination of our municipal drinking water sources in the Greater Sudbury area including Ramsey Lake, the Vermilion River, the Wahnapitae River and 24 municipal wells.

The Plan was approved by the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change in September 2014 and has been in effect since April 1, 2015.
